Meet Our Team

Quinn Bosworth DO

Dr. Quinn Bosworth spent a year prior to attending medical school at MSU working as a sheep shearer in Australia and New Zealand. His published magazine articles about his experience abroad gained him popularity as a shearer. It was then that he was inspired to enter the medical profession. “I sheared for a few doctors during this time and they often told me that they could never do my job. So I became interested in seeing if I could do their job.”

Dr. Bosworth completed his residency in family practice at Ingham Regional Medical Center while moonlighting at several urgent care practices. He was hired by Sparrow Hospital to start an urgent care practice across from the Michigan Athletic Club, while working in family practice there as well.

In 2007 he bought Haslett RediCare™, one of the first urgent care centers in the country, and brainchild of John Wiggenstein MD, who ran the ER at Ingham Hospital. Dr. Wiggenstein was an urgent care concept pioneer. He had observed how much of his emergency room was devoted to caring for patients that could have been seen in a non-emergent setting.

The relocation of RediCare™ to Okemos allowed for the addition of the Grand River Family Practice, a service Dr. Bosworth’s patients requested because they had difficulty finding a primary care doctor taking new patients and because they liked coming to RediCare™. The practice has a next-door neighbor kind of feel to it. “We have patients that come in for free blood pressure measurements and they want to chat with the staff about the issues of the day. So patients have come to expect this level of good will, and our staff is superb at providing it.”
